1. Overview
Ownomate does not require registration, create user accounts, or maintain a user database. The website does not access users' connection profiles, passwords, keys, VPS data, automations, or backups.
The website does not use cookies, browser storage, analytics, advertising, or third-party embeds. All cases in which the website needs technical information are listed below. For privacy questions, contact feedback@ownomate.com.
2. Website and downloads
When you open a page, the server receives standard technical request fields: IP address, date and time, page address, browser information, and HTTP headers. The website application does not store the original IP address or create a visitor profile. For rate limiting, a one-way hash of the IP address is held briefly in memory and deleted within 15 minutes.
The download counter stores only the date, platform, and distribution version. It does not record IP addresses, visitor identifiers, browser information, or HTTP headers.
3. Feedback
When you send feedback, the app transmits the message text and type, random request and installation identifiers, and the Ownomate version, operating system, architecture, and language. A bug report may include an email address that you voluntarily provide for a reply; a feature suggestion does not request contact details.
The website API validates the message and forwards it as a single email to the project's mailbox. The website does not keep a separate database copy of the text or email address. The delivery identifier is held in memory for no more than 24 hours. The email is retained until the request is resolved, and for no more than one year after the last substantive reply.
Do not include passwords, keys, backup contents, or other secrets in your message.
4. Online assistant
To answer a question, the app transmits the question text, temporary context for the current session, random message, session, and installation identifiers, the Ownomate version and language, the selected section, and the versions of components specified by the app.
The website acts as a gateway and does not record questions or answers in its own database. In a separate environment, Valkey stores up to ten recent question-and-answer pairs from the current session and deletes them automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity. The main n8n workflow does not retain execution logs for successful or failed requests.
n8n, Qdrant, and OpenAI are used to search documentation and prepare answers. Requests to OpenAI are sent with store: false, but Zero Data Retention is not used, and processing may take place outside Russia under the provider's terms. Remove personal data and secrets before submitting a question.
5. Security and requests
Technical information is used only to deliver pages, protect the service, handle feedback, and provide assistant responses. It is not used for advertising, mailing campaigns, behavior analysis, or profiling. Transmission is protected by HTTPS and mTLS; access is restricted and input is validated.
The website and these features rely on the server infrastructure provider, email provider SprintHost, and the assistant services named above. Each receives only the information needed for its part of the service.
If you believe the project still holds information about you, request its correction or deletion at feedback@ownomate.com. Include the request number and email address used for contact, if known. After verification, any information found will be deleted unless there is a lawful basis for retaining it. If no information about you remains, the reply will state this.
This policy takes into account the requirements of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ and is updated when the service or legislation changes. A new revision takes effect upon publication on this page.
